About
The Artist
John was born 35 years ago in Kalispell, Montana. He was
raised around cowboys, packers, and hunters. As a result,
he has many interesting stories from personal experience
to create his work.
John made his first bronze at the age of
18, when he went to work for a local foundry as a laborer.
It was then that he discovered his affinity for sculpting,
and instantly clicked with the medium. Clearly he has evolved
as a premier Western & Wildlife sculptor.
He has shown his work at the Thunderbird
Artists Shows, The Celebration Of Fine Art in Scottsdale
AZ, The Sedona Sculpture Walk in Sedona, AZ and The Western
Heritage in Great Falls, MT.
For two years in a row, John was proud to
accept the "Best Of Show" Award for his sculptures..."Hot
Spot", and "Hot Pursuit". More importantly,
John was awarded the Artist Choice Award for his scuplture..."Hot
Pursuit".
As his talents grow, so does the demand
for his artwork, as evidenced by the City of Whitefish,
MT commissioning him to create a life-size bronze, "Generations"
which depicts a railroad engineer handing a toy engine to
a young boy. "Generations" can be seen at the
Burlington Northern Train Depot in Whitefish, MT.
John is currently residing in Mesa, AZ with
his wife, Jennifer, and their three sons, Ramoan, Anthony,
and Bridger.
When time allows, John can be found outdoors,
riding his motorcycles with his sons, and always looking
to capture new ideas for his next piece of art.
